Coffee is 9 Euro a cup, so coffee for 2 might get you a nice meal elsewhere, instead. Nevertheless, it wasn't an issue for us to walk across the street where there are three coffee places to choose from, and it actually saved us enough money for a couple of cabs. And indeed they were, since at 7:00 AM is when breakfast becomes available. We were told that repairs would be completed at 7:00 AM. They told us that the machine was being repaired, but in reality, we think they just didn't have anyone available to make coffee at that moment. At 6:30 AM there is no way to get a coffee. Having to get up earlier for a tour or an event, or just the fact of being jet-lagged can be a big issue for many travelers, and if you are staying at this hotel it can be a great inconvenient.
